Welcome to the Cape County Soccer Club!
Cape County Soccer Club (CCSC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, organization organized under the laws of Missouri, and is a member of the Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). CCSC is dedicated to fostering a love for soccer in young boys and girls across Cape Girardeau County. Our club currently focuses on the 10U and 11U age groups, providing a fun, supportive, and development-focused environment where young athletes can grow both on and off the field. We are actively looking to expand into other age divisions.

- The Cost to Compete
Where Your Club Soccer Fees Really Go
Competitive youth soccer is an incredible opportunity for players to learn, grow, and test themselves against strong opponents. But it also comes with costs. At Cape County Soccer Club (CCSC), we believe families deserve to know exactly how those costs work.
Unlike many clubs, CCSC does not charge direct club fees. That means no hidden administrative costs or blanket “program fees” that often leave families wondering where their money went. Instead, we focus on keeping soccer affordable and transparent for every player.
How CCSC Covers Costs
Uniforms & League Fees
Through fundraisers and sponsorships, CCSC is able to cover the full cost of player uniforms and league registration. That means families aren’t asked to write big checks at the start of each season just to get their players on the field.
Fields & Facilities
Securing safe and reliable fields for practice is one of the largest expenses for any soccer club. At CCSC, a portion of these costs is offset through sponsorships and club fundraising, which keeps family contributions to a minimum.
Tournaments
Tournament entry fees are shared among the team. Fundraising efforts help cover a portion, but families are only responsible for the remaining balance—ensuring costs are spread fairly and never padded with extras.
Travel Costs
For “stay-to-play” tournaments, travel expenses (hotel, transportation, meals) are paid by each family. By keeping other fees low, we make sure these events remain accessible and rewarding experiences for players.
Why We’re Different
Many clubs operate on a pay-to-play model, charging hundreds (or even thousands) per player in club fees before the season even begins. CCSC takes a different approach. We rely on a strong base of community support, fundraisers, and local sponsorships so that soccer is as affordable as possible for families in our area.
Our philosophy is simple: every dollar that comes in should directly benefit the players. That’s why we’re open about how fees are structured and why our model looks different than most.
The Bigger Picture
We call this commitment “The Cost to Compete”—not as a burden, but as a promise to keep soccer both competitive and accessible.
By sharing the real breakdown of costs, we ensure that parents know exactly what they are paying for, and why. At CCSC, your investment goes directly into your player’s growth, experiences, and love of the game—not into hidden overhead.
